I have watched her show several times and her food looks so good! I have followed and tried two seperate recipes and unfortunitely, there was nothing good about them. (I did follow the recipe EXACTLY).
Have you ever cooked any of her meals? What did you think?Has anyone actually enjoyed a recipe from Rachel Ray??
UM YES!!!!
I bought the 2,4,6, 8 cookbook
but I also made this balsamic chicken over spinich salad that was awesome!!!!!! I think it's best sometimes to adapt and taste along the way to see if it's ok...
The meatloaf muffins are awesome if you can find that one -comes out good..Has anyone actually enjoyed a recipe from Rachel Ray??
On TV you can do anything.....
I always alter her meals a little bit. But overall I tried some sausage stoup and I liked it a lot.
I was fortunate enough to be home for Thanksgiving and I happened to tune in for the first time. I followed her wine gravy to a T.And I was amazed at how good it was. And here I thought I already made the best pan dripping gravy in the world. I'd attempt another of her recipes.
Good Grief No! She is just a marketing ploy made up the the networks. She is not a chef and never has been one. Don't waste your time.
Of course, she is a good cook, although it ultimately depends on your taste. No one should recomend food to you unless you know that person well. In my opinion though, she is a very good cook. I wish that she wouldn't smile so much though, it gets creepy.
I have made some of her recipes and some turned out good while others were awful. A simple apple crisp was horrible the way her recipe called for it. So I ended up going to the message boards. The people that are on there will help you figure out what tastes better or needs to be taken or added. I have had great luck following their advice.
GOOD LUCK ;D
hah.
she has a lot of weird recipes
and she makes them soooooooo delicious and I try making them
and they are not so great.
lol
With some modifications on my part, I made the Caesar Salad with Fried Ravioli croutons. Used tiny raviolis and baked, rather than fried them. It was a nice change from the usual Caesar salads that I've made, but not one that is worth the effort.
I've cooked many of their meals - and my mother-in-law only cooks from Rachel Ray - I love her meals!!!
I think its a scam I wasnt done in 30 mins., and the food didnt taste good..
i have'nt tried cooking any rachael ray's recipe but my experience in cooking taught me that even if you followed the recipe to the letter, there are times that you will be really adjusting to what your taste buds tell you and adjust accordingly, for me cooking is not really an exact science and what you put in your food is up to you. variations can be made depending on your preference.
